About Russ

I’m a screenwriter nominated for the Arthur Rosenfeld Award For Excellence In Dramatic Writing, and named one of the Top 100 Indie Writers in Del Weston’s forthcoming book of the same name. I specialize in thrillers and absurd comedies. My scripts have received accolades from the Nicholls, Austin, Script Pipeline, Contest of Contest Winners, and many others. My screenplays have won 14 screenplay contests.

The second of my shorts scripts to be filmed, JUST A TIC, is showing in film fests. THE FAT LADY SINGS is my first script to appear in print, as a novella. My sci-fi thriller script, A LITTLE FAVOR, is becoming a graphic novel. I have several feature scripts available. My modern western script, JENNA’S GONE, is in development with Taz Entertainment and CoyoteMoon Films, currently looking for funding for the final portion of the budget.
