About John
Originally from Scotland, I’ve been working as a Process Engineer for more than 20 years. I have an interest in film as a script writer and have had a couple of credits with a comedy and an action/ thriller. More recently, I placed 3rd in the Cannes screenwriting contest and had a short called, Keeper produced by a German crew. I've also had a second short produced called, 'Out of body experience' than won the overall award at a short film festival in Turkey that has a focus on the Kosovo massacres during early Nineties. Most of the writing that I have done outside of screenwriting has been technical in nature with a number of papers and articles published.
