Serious long time Screenwriter with a large and always expanding body of work seeking help with the final breakthrough.


First of all I'd like to thank all the people who make Stage32 possible from the website staff, contributors, and everyone who makes up this great community.  I seem to find only positive people with thoughtful and constructive comments and advice here. 

It is to that community I now cast a line seeking that one person who knows the right person who works for that right person that makes movies and magic happen.

Briefly about myself just for some background, I am a 36 year old small business owner in the northern most parts of Michigan.  I have been writing for over 20 years and studied Writing and Media Production at Northern Michigan University.  Between my time in the military, going to school, working, and being a parent I always found time to work on my latest passion piece. 

Now I have a deep body of work that is ready for professional eyes.  For a small town guy with no connections at all to the movie industry this is where the trouble comes in.  Thus far I have pitched two of my screenplays (via phone and Skype) to executives here on Stage32's Happy Writers Pitch Sessions.  All three of my pitches went excellently with wonderful and enthusiastic reviews about my concepts but all three where passed on because there just weren't the right projects for those people.  Despite the extremely positive and motivating nature of these experiences I am quickly learning that this isn't the optimal way to get my screenplays in the right hands.

And this is where I ask the favor of the community.  I ask for anyone here with even a connection to a connection who could put in that good word for me and be that bridge to that right person.  Maybe that right person is you, I have no idea the level of connections people here may have.  I am very open to the idea of management and/or representation (as well as collaboration) and realize it's a vital part of the process.  

Right now I have three projects that are very ready to be put into professional hands and those are a worldwide action/thriller, a biopic of a former professional athlete, and an hour long pilot for a sci-fi action show.  I will provide complete loglines and synopsizes to any interested parties in private messaging or via email.  In addition to these projects I have many other screenplays in varying degrees of completion from outline to nearly completed to just needing a rewrite.  These projects range across many genres including comedy, a heist film, an original serial killer story, a based on true events World War II film, an original supernatural/super hero character, and many more.  I also have a large collection of short comedic sketches and some stand up comedy material (I do not perform).  

Maybe one day this will be part of the story of how some great movies got made.  Please contact me with any interest in hearing more about my screenplays.
