About Harper

Harper J is an independent hip-hop artist born In Colorado. He always had a passion for making music in all forms and enjoyed poetry at a very young age. After leaving home at the age of 15 he started rapping as a way to cope with life on the streets. Upon reaching the age of 18 and no longer classified as a runaway, he began to further his education and eventually joined the U.S Army as an Infantryman. After 7 years of faithful service and one combat tour to Iraq, Harper J was medically discharged from the military and went to school to pursue a degree in Business. It was during this time that he took his hobby of rapping to the next level and started recording his songs.
