About Mick

Based out of Statesboro and Savannah, Georgia, Mick Miller is pursuing his bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Film & Production at Georgia Southern University. Mick is a photographer for the George-Anne, Georgia Southern University’s student newspaper, Vice President of Film Club GSU, and freelances in the Statesboro area. Mick focuses on capturing the beauty of the environment and the people within them through his documentary shorts and his photography.

His documentary short, A True Bird’s-Eye View, premiered at the 2016 Communication Arts Showcase at Georgia Southern University. Mick’s photography has been published to the Statesboro community in newspapers, magazines, and newsletters. After appearing on Mick’s radio show A Matter of Perspective on WVGS 91.9, Georgia Southern University’s president, Dr. Jaimie Hebert recognized Mick in his Convocation to the university in August of 2016.

Mick is co-producing 1852: The Desert Eagle, a feature length sports documentary that follows Georgia Southern University’s Eagle Motorsports’ adventure in the Baja 1000, and 1852: The Desert Eagle is in the post production stages. Upon graduation from Georgia Southern University, Mick will continue freelance and build connections for the future.
