About Amir

Amir Hoye was born in Los Angeles and was raised in Altadena. He is currently a student who attends The Art Institute in North Hollywood; his main speciality is Photojournalism and Documentary Photography. Amir has always had a interest in photography but really picked up the art when Digital Single Lens Reflex cameras came on market. He specializes in documenting the everyday life and protests. Amir’s goal is to show social and political issues that arise in society and also, life as people know it. Amir plans to travel abroad, explore different cultures and document conflicts that arise in the world.
