Kayla Baken

Aspiring comedy television writer with experience in pilot writing (live action + animation) and short form content creation. Creator of "New Yorkers in LA" web series, a comedy following the misadventures of two New York women attempting to navigate the culture shock of an LA lifestyle. Wrote, directed and managed production of two seasons (12 episodes).

2018 winner of UCLA's Professional Program for TV Writing "Best Comedy Pilot" award. 2020 Final Draft Big Break Competition quarter-finalist. Second place recipient in Stage 32's 2nd Annual Happy Writers Comedy Writing Contest (TV category).
