Kevin Johnson yes sir got the nuts and bolts on here, I like the tension and pace! Cool title!
Did you see "American Made" with Tom Cruise?
This hits me with a similar tone of action / suspense / intrigue, a time-tested genre to be sure but that's why we love the challenge of making it new and refreshingly familiar!

Certainly intrigues, Kevin. It's definitely a story I'd be interested in reading, so the logline is doing plenty right. As for the logline: I think it could do with some syntax tweaks:
"An undercover cop on the cusp of solving one of the biggest crimes in U.S. history must decide if being loyal to loved ones is worth jeopardizing a career bust he's worked so hard to get."
When it comes to logline essentials, it nails the main character, what his story goal is, and what is standing in the way of said goal. What would be great is some clarity on how the familial loyalty is entwined with the case. Is a friend or relative involved in the crime? Then this could be worth mentioning to raise the visible stakes.
But great job so far.
Do feel free to get in touch if you'd like any further help on this or any part of the project's story development.

I agree with Phil who suggested adding a little information about how the family ties in with the case. But other than that, great logline! I'm looking forward to seeing a sample of the script!
