About Roberto

Roberto Tomeo was born in Voghera (Pavia – Italy), in 1983.
He worked as director at the short film "The Shadow of Boxing Gloves", presented at the Short Film Corner of the 66th Festival De Cannes.
He presented "Little Gods" and "The Mourners" at the Short Film Corner of the 66th and the 67th Festival de Cannes editions (2013 and 2014). "Little Gods", produced in collaboration with the Symbols Pictures Entertainment of Fabio Fossati, is also in competition at the David di Donatello Awards.
"The Mourners", participates in many international festivals. In Pennsylvania at the Terror Film Festival 2014 it receives five important nominations, including best actor and best editing. Anyway, “The Mourners” obtained the best result at The Monthly Film Festival 2015 in Glasgow and at Fright Night Festival 2015 in Kentucky.
Now The Mourners is in developing to became a feature film.
In 2015, he made his first short film in english language, "The Price" . Among others, the cast of mother-tongue actors includes Emanuelle Bains ("The Sleepover Club", TV series) and Dylan Ayres ("Bad things").
The Price had many official selections and nominees in film festivals and it is in developing to became a tv-series.
Other projects are Zombie Life (an horror-comedy) and The Wonderful Day (a drama.)
