John Kestner studied Film at Wright State University and Literature at Ohio University. He was represented by Ben Conway of Ben Conway & Associates and Entertainment Attorney Patt Healy until they retired.

He's a two-time Platinum Award Winner at the Worldfest Houston Film Festival, a Gold Award Winner at the L.A. Neo Noir Novel, Film, and Script Festival, and a Golden Ace Award Winner at the Las Vegas Film Festival.
