About Andrew

I started in the UK film industry in 2006 working in the production office on Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix before going on to the special effects department on Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows parts I & II, and the Art Department on Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight. I then worked for Warner Bros Entertainment at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, UK from 2011 to 2017.

I am now living and working in Toronto at a creative video content agency.

My first short film ‘Alleyman’, a drama set in the trenches of the First World War went on to win the British Lion Award at the 2011 British Independent Film Festival and was acquired by Shorts International.

'Sandburn', my latest short, premiered at the Toronto International Short Film Festival 2019 and was also acquired by Shorts TV.

In the meantime, the voices against wizardry keep growing with daily protests led by Mary Lou Barebone and fuelled by the increasing disasters ascribed to a dark wizard, Gellert Grindelwald. At the same time, by a twist of fate, Newt's precious suitcase will be switched with the identical one of an aspiring No-Maj baker, Jacob Kowalski, while demoted Auror, Tina Goldstein, arrests Newt for being an unregistered wizard.
