About Jerry

About my project: I've been a fan of animation for as long as I can remember, and fell in love with 3D animation at my first exposure to an old Saturday morning series called Re-Boot. I am also a fan of comics, and a huge fan of animation. I love the DC Animated Universe, particularly Bruce Timms' work with Batman the Animated series and the Justice League Animated series (JL/JLU)! I've always had a knack for writing, I even started my own blog years ago called “Truth Be Told”. My love for animation of varying styles lead to a growing fascination with writing for animation. Along with realizing a growing demand for fresh, new, characters, and for minority characters in the science fiction/fantasy/superhero genre, I decided to challenge myself to create a new universe of characters that would meet these demands, and so Fantastic Dimension was born. I've worked on Fantastic Dimension for over seven years now, regularly expanding the universe and adding new, interesting characters. At this point there are well over 50+ diverse characters within the Fantastic Dimension Universe, and steadily growing! I am also working on a spin-off series called Super Galactic Fantastic, where the son of the main character of the original story takes on the mantel of hero in his own way. I developed Fantastic Dimension into a graphic novel which is for sale on , the link is in my profile, please check it out. I also wrote a script for an animated pilot for television based on the graphic novel. My goal is to create a robust, and diverse animated universe that will entertain and inspire all who watch, and engage.

A bit about me: Along with being a busy husband and father of two, I have volunteered my time to charitable work such as giving free creative and web services for the South African Well Project; volunteering with a local prison ministry for the last 7 years, bringing fellowship and encouragement to inmates seeking a second chance, as well as volunteering as an after-school coordinator for a non-profit group in Los Angeles for several years, mentoring at risk Junior High/High School teens with timely advice, encouraging them to overcome personal issues to achieve excellence in school and at home. I continue to seek opportunities to volunteer my time and talents to make a difference for others.
