SYNOPSIS:

The date: November 11, 2011 (11/11/11)

Paul Tucker, a New York City novelist goes to great lengths to find out why he is so obsessed with the two digit number. He wakes up at 11:11 A.M. and he has got things that have the number eleven in them. He plans to write his next novel (he stopped writing it when he reached the eleventh chapter), but his girlfriend, Jasmin Perez, comes over to visit him after her jog through Central Park. Paul tells Jasmin that the number eleven has entered his life and he doesn't know why. Jasmin tells him that it is a coincidence. Then, they go to Central Park and Paul sees different men with different sports jerseys with the number eleven on them. Paul then dreams that the number eleven is speaking to him. Paul asks the number why is he obsessed with it and it tells him that he has a deep rooted issue with it and when he figures it out his obsession will be gone. After the dream, Paul suggests that he and Jasmin go see their friend Cleo Dobson, who is a numerologist, who may help him with his obsession by giving him a reading about the number eleven and the meaning behind the number. After the reading, Cleo admits that she likes the number eleven and proves it to Paul and Jasmin by showing the number stitched onto her pink legwarmers. Then, after that, Cleo introduces her friends to a song that has the word "eleven" in its lyrics. Then, Paul goes to see his therapist Dr. Fran Baker. He tells her about his obsession with the number eleven and she tells him why he is obsessed with the number: His mother died in 2010 and Paul repressed that memory for an entire year and the number eleven is the numerical version of Paul's late mother.

Then, at 2:45 P.M. (2+4+5 = 11), Paul and Jasmin go back to Paul's apartment and Paul tells Jasmin the reason why he was so obsessed with the number eleven. Then, the young couple go to Paul's bedroom, kick off their shoes, get into Paul's bed and make out under the covers.
