The Griffin Family gets a day named in their honor when Peter, as usual, humiliates Lois by discussing their sex life in front of the entire family.

SYNOPSIS:

Peter gets a psychic to get a day named after the Griffin Family (named "National Griffin Day") after he humiliates Lois after bragging about their sexual encounter he and Lois had the night before.

When the psychic makes the day a reality, trouble ensues among his friends when they start hating Peter when he starts getting free beer at The Drunken Clam because of a sign that read: "Griffins get free beer!" Then, when Peter goes home after getting beaten up by patrons at the bar, the Griffin's special day makes the evening news and it is reported that Kathy Griffin and Eddie Griffin (in cameos) got beaten up because of their last names and the day that celebrates all Griffins whether they are from Quahog or not. After the news, the Griffins feel like prisoners in their own home.

Later, Lois goes to the psychic and asks that the prediction get rescinded. Meanwhile, Peter leaves his house and sees Jon David Griffin (the writer of the episode). Peter wonders why Jon isn't getting threatened by the residents and Jon tells him he lives in New Jersey. Then, Peter asks Jon how to get out of the situation he put himself and his family in and Jon tells him to wake up because it was all a dream.

Then, the residents chant "Kill Peter Griffin!" and it is led by Lois. This scares Peter and he runs back into the house and then, Lois thanks the residents and Jon for helping her get through to her husband.

Seeing that the situation was a dream, Lois and Peter are in bed together and Peter tells Lois that he dreamt that the family celebrated "National Griffin Day" and he met Jon David Griffin. Lois doesn't believe this and tells him it was all a dream and Jon would never come to Quahog because he lives in New Jersey. Then, as soon as Peter agrees with Lois, Jon comes into their bedroom and asks the couple how he can get back to New Jersey.
