About Dionna

This Georgia Peach, born and raised, has had a knack for taking the stage since elementary school. Her onstage works focus primarily on dramas and musicals, her powerhouse vocals belting tunes like Big River's "How Blest We Are" and "The Crossing," Negro spirituals like "Lord How Come We Here" and "Amazing Grace." She's acted with several Atlanta community theatres since 2013 including Lionheart Theatre, Out of Box Theatre, Rising Sage Theatre, and Marietta Theatre In The Square as well as theatre festivals. She's currently aiming to take the regional theatre stages and begin her career in film.

She also has an interest backstage as stage manager, managing food, actors and props for August Wilson's "Joe Turner's Come and Gone," and the stageplay musical Lolita Snipe's "Head Over Heels."

She most recently displayed her French-speaking fluency as Lacy Stallings in a new play in the works titled "That What Buried" by Amina S. McIntyre, about three sisters living through the climate of Emmitt Till's death back home in the US and the Negritude in Paris.

Unique traits: Fluent French, black mole centered on the forehead, yoga flexibility, and strong vocals
