About Ides

I am Buysse Ides, and I've been immersed in the world of screenwriting for the past two decades. During this time, I have passionately written numerous screenplays, yet I've never taken the step to put them into action. However, I've recently embarked on a fresh journey by discarding all my previous work and crafting entirely new scripts, driven by the aspiration to break into the industry and make my mark.

Primarily, my focus lies in the realm of spec writing and the prospect of selling my creations. While I believe in my proficiency in spec screenwriting, I admit that I am still in the process of familiarizing myself with the intricacies of the business side of the industry.

I also have a background in classical music and soundtrack, which, if you ask me, isn't that dissimilar to writing a screenplay, because they both start with an empty page.
