Originally from Uyo, Nigeria, I’ve been working in broadcast business for more than 20 years. I’ve lived and worked in Lagos, Uyo and Calabar all in Nigeria. I am now in Calabar, where I work as screenwriting teacher, broadcast producer and screenwriter and research-writer.
I worked for defunct International broadcaster, Minaj Broadcast International as screenwriter-producer following journalistic positions for book publisher, Political Communication Limited in Lagos. I moved on to freelance tenure as Screenwriter with titles like Isaac Boro 12 Day Revolution(1938-1968) - biopic; The Palm Covenant(Sierra Leone military/political crisis)- 1992 - 1996; Aisha's Love Verses (focus on Book Haram kidnapping of Nigerian school girls) among others.
Meantime I teach Story Directions for the Nigerian Film Industry to refocus on High Concept stories that will treat national issues as backdrops to character driven stories. These could include political, economic, religious and cultural epochal tenures that define the Nigrrian film culture personae.
Unique traits: Ability to creatively traverse audio, print and visual content needs with songwriting, sound/music production and film story concepts .
