I've written a book and now I'm looking for someone to help me write a screenplay. I'm not in the industry, but I have a story to tell. Need to tell. How do I make those contacts? I've written and published children's books, but this project is much bigger and a completely different genre. 4.) people of goodwill and righteous people are yearning for humane films that would confront and reject the intolerance and divisive mentality and attitudes that are undermining the fabric of our our unique American diversity.

5.) my screenplay will restore America's global image and reputation as a kind and generous people, and country, towards other peoples as evidence (d) by my life-changing friendship with a White man who rose above race, and intolerance, when he met me in Sierra Leone in 1976, and when he befriended me, and how out of his own goodwill, kindness, and generosity he transformed my life from abuse and poverty in Africa, to freedom and opportunity in America.

I believe my story / screenplay is timely in America and relevant in today's American society because of the ongoing issues of intolerance and divisiveness in the country that are currently trending in the news media.

My screenplay will have a much broader appeal to others beyond my fellow Christians and the Hollywood Blood Diamond fans. My screenplay will appeal to people who like stories about the power of human spirit to overcome adversity, to travel enthusiasts, to adventurers, people interested in other peoples cultures and to civil rights advocates, people working for racial justice and equality.

42 year old married white male (but 22 at heart). Have studied screenwriting for 20 years and know the craft although I will always consider myself a perpetual amateur. Spent those two decades playing with it as a hobby (hatching ideas and stories and reviewing screenplays, giving advice on triggerstreet <sniff> and building a fairly large 'to do' list of screenplays to write) in my spare time.
