Bio / Kathy.Mk / Schönwasser Choir Krefeld !

The Choir was founded in 1983 and allready 1985 they seriously took at the ZDF - Children Choir Challenge in Friedrichshafen / Germany and where very succesfull. More achievements where made by the Choir at the Nordrhein Westfalia Challenge "The Youth Sings" by getting there four times in a row the highest points possible, they get aswell the highest points possible at the 3´rd German Choir Challenge in the 1990´s at the Town of Stuttgart.Concert Journeys took the Choir to the Krefeld´s Partner City´s in England and France. And they got an Invitement to the South of England, where they amongst other places sing at the Canterbury Cathedral.
1989 after a very strong criterium the Schönwasser-Children and Youth Choir was selected and Invited to the 43. International-Music-Festival at the Langollen (Wales) to perform there. In 1991 theire Choir was Invited as the only one North European Choir to the International Choir Festival at La Laguna (Teneriffa / Spain) where they also performed !!mongst so many things it followed also a Winning Award presented by the German Federal Interior Minister at that time Mr. Wolfgang Schäuble.
The Choir gived also many Concerts and Gala´s at the "Seidenweberhaus" (Krefeld / Germany) a huge Concert Hall, and once they gived also a Concert together with the Tenor Vico Torriani where they had a huge Applaus for they great Vocal performance.
The Choir gived also four Concerts at Leicester / England. Where they had Concerts but also Interviews at one Live Show by Radio Leicester and also by the BBC. They always had standing ovations at the end of theire concerts. praised was theire Freshness and Naturality, Enthusiastic Capacity, Openness and the clear Voices with the clear as bell Intonation. "Powerfull Voices even without the Microphone, thats how the Choir was entitled amongst other nice words"
They recorded also Vinyl´s/CD´s and bringed them out on the Market which are still very good saled and demanded by the Audience.
Kathy MK is now busy with the producing of her own tracks and devotes herself again the work with their MK2s.
In addition, she also writes her own lyrics and remains 30 years of her love of singing faithful.
