Recently crafted the most irreverent script you'll ever read... F*ck You, Michael Vick - a mash-up of unforgettable scenes from iconic movies (E.T., Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Aliens, Predator, Dirty Dancing, Top Gun, Jaws, etc.), all reimagined with DOGS as the main characters, dispensing hilarious but brutal scene/story-appropriate justice to ex-NFL QB turned dogfighter/murderer Michael Vick.
Here's the link if anyone's curious. Would love to hear your thoughts, and learn more about your projects.
Cheers!

I truly enjoy being a part of this incredible community.
I'm a seasoned journalist/author/screenwriter with a wide variety of credits. My last two scripts were both Top 10 finalists in major screenwriting competitions.
I'm also a firearms/weaponry expert with hands-on experience in Africa and the Middle East, although I'm NOT a member of the US Armed Forces. Like Liam said, "I've got a very particular set of skills."
I love the collaborative process and working with filmmakers of all experience levels, on all sorts of projects. No two are ever alike, and that's the beauty of it. Couldn't imagine doing anything else.
Gimme a shout if you feel my involvement in your project would be helpful.
Good luck and continued success with all your endeavors!
Sincerely,
Adam Rocke

Good to meet you Adam. I just read your blog about your Maxim article (blast from the past magazine!) How's the development process going? Wishing you a ton of success man.

Great to meet you, as well. Since the novel was published, we've had some interesting discussions with a wide variety of entities. We also have an agent shopping foreign rights, and that's resulted in some rather unique conversations - including with people who knew JK Idema (or so they claimed).
Considering we also have what I believe is a great, character-driven script, as well as a larger story that could set up nicely for a scripted series (streamer, def not network), I'm happy to discuss the project with anyone.
I appreciate the well-wishes, and wish you equally good fortune on all your projects. Please stay in touch and keep me posted on what you're working on.
Best,
Adam
Are they selling foreign to option the book? Wishing you luck with it. It's a marathon, that's for sure.
No, just foreign rights to the novel. TV/film is being handled by another rep. A marathon, indeed!
Good morning and greetings to the entire Stage 32 community! It's exciting to see so many people passionate about the industry.
Should anyone need the literary services of a legit firearms/weaponry expert, give me a ring.
Wishing everyone nothing but success with all your endeavors!

Had the good fortune to author quite a few features over the years. Beyond that, I've done a number of books. Trying to stay busy!
You wrote for RAZOR?I was the marketing director there, and Stage 32’s CEO Richard Botto was the Founder & Editor RAZOR. Do you remember what issue(s) you wrote in? I’ll see if I can dig them out of my garage!

It was sometime in 2001. Did a bunch of work for RAZOR! Really enjoyed working with that publication. I had no idea that was RB's. That's awesome!
If anyone's looking for a rockin' character-driven action/drama, my new spec, Rear Naked, set in the high octane world of women's MMA, received awesome coverage on The Black List and is currently trending.
You go! Strong female characters? I'm all for it. Best wishes.
Thanks Morgan and David!
What does that mean - it's currently trending?
Rear Naked was one of the top script's being looked at or read.
That's what trending means? How did you find out about this? What is Black List?

Expand commentHey guys, I submitted my pilot, Club Paradise, based on my time working in a strip club. Set in the 90s it follows an ex-exotic dancer and grieving mother as she struggles to run the city's hottest strip club, with the expectation of owning it. But when the owner's inexperienced nephew takes possession, she must fight to maintain her reign and protect her staff while battling external forces and inner demons.
My hopes are for it to be a cinematic, rock n roll love letter to women, mothers, friendship and the 90s.

My story is about a grungy preteen named Aiyana!!! She hasn’t started her period like all the other girls in her class and realizes she's pregnant!!! She decides she doesn't want it and tries to find a way to terminate the pregnancy in secret with the help of her old childhood buddies! They haven't hung out together in years but Aiyanna, Ovia, Hope, and Jinx start off from where they last ended to help their friend in need! Jinx works up this idea of sneaking into an abortion clinic. All they have to do is blend in and not Jinx it! This event welcomes the audience to American teenage daughter hell and it will be a menstruating, pimple bumpy, hormonal raging, fun time. It's a provocative Babysitters Club without all the babysitting. :D
