About Dawn

Dawn Burgess has proudly worked in many facets of the entertainment industry over a span of the past 20 yrs. Her career focus was acting and writing, but has recently segued into directing and producing. Dawn has written, directed and produced three short films and a feature film that is currently running the festival circuit and has garnered several awards. She received "FILMMAKER OF THE YEAR" from the East TX area in 2018, where several of her films have been shot on location. She currently has two spec scripts ready to go to production, one being Driving Her - GRAND PRIZE WINNER of Stage 32's Feature Drama Screenwriting Contest, along with a third in development. Her next directing project is another short film that she is currently in development on slated for early 2021.
