About Tim

Tim Lacatena is the founder of award-winning digital comedy collective, Nightpantz. Born in Alaska, he later studied acting at William Esper Studio, Playhouse West and the Upright Citizens Brigade. As a teenager, Tim trained at the School of American Ballet and Royal Ballet School. Lacatena is best known for playing Andrew in the hit film, Step Up. He is also the co-founder of Soulcirque, a dj band that has played events nationally and internationally for such clients as Google, the Emmys, and BMW. Tim produces original music and tours under his name Tim Lacatena. He received his Ableton Specialist Certificate from Berklee Online and studied screenwriting at UCLA Extension.
