Hans Weise

Hans Weise is an award-winning multimedia journalist and documentary filmmaker. He is the former director of video production at National Geographic magazine, a role that’s taken him from the lava tubes of Hawaii to the dry valleys of Antarctica. His focus and passion is on telling complex science and natural history stories in visually engaging new ways. He's earned two Emmy nominations for his work in animation, a silver award from the Society for News Design, and a British Archaeological Award for Best Public Presentation of Archaeology for his film, "Under London."
