About Christopher

Christopher G. Contreras is a filmmaker/writer hailing from Southern California. Movies, video games, and the hip hop culture have made a huge impact in his life and to his work.

Chris has worked with independent film company 'Stauros Entertainment', from 2009-present day, as a freelance camera operator for their web series "Hollywood 1 on 1" (shooting over 70 released episodes), as well as working as a Boom Operator/Grip and Actor in "Lavanderia" a film produced by 'Stauros Entertainment”. In 2012 he worked as an Actor and Assistant Director/B Camera Operator on the web series "Blooob".

During the summer of 2013 Chris shot and edited a documentary featuring "Team KAIZEN" an independent game development studio from Great Falls Montana. During fall of 2013 Chris was one of the camera operators for a sizzle reel/pilot for a reality show called "The Real Hollywood FX". In 2014 a script for a short film called "ReJacked" that Chris wrote was produced by independent film company 'Pistolero Productions'.

Additionally, footage that he shot was used in a video produced by Sony's Playstation division called "My Road To Greatness: Josh Hughes". As a musician under the pseudonym "Beta", a few of his songs have been featured on different video game podcasts online such as “All Games Interactive”, hosted by Scot Rubin, and “Weekend Confirmed” hosted by Garnett Lee and on actor Tyrone Tann's show "Stauros Entertainment" on .
