I'm originally from Toronto where I graduated from CW Jefferys Vocational Art School, majoring in design, illustration and theatrical arts.
After completing grade 12, I went on to study illustration, story writing and cartooning at Sheridan College of Applied Arts & Technology in Oakville, Ontario.
On weekends, I would return to Toronto where I performed in a Second City style dinner theatre with a improvisational comedy troupe called Berford Seaman's Flabby Thighs and Butter. I wrote the script and directed the entire production. The actors would then tweak the lines at their discretion.
We'd performed at various clubs in the greater Toronto area, including an infant Yuk Yuk's comedy club.
During this 5 year span, some former students of Sheridan College and I also produced an internationally distributed comic book under the same name as the theatre troupe: Berford Seaman's Flabby Thighs and Butter. These are now vintage comics and can occasionally be found in personal comic book collections as well as comic guides.
In the summer, I drew caricatures in Toronto's trendy Yorkville Avenue. In the winter months, I drew caricatures in flea markets and in Toronto's various bars on the strip.
In the 90s while working for a large graphics company, I'd banged out several screenplays more as a hobby to keep my creative juices flowing.
From 2004 until 2016 I drew caricatures inside West Edmonton Mall as a self employed artist.
Today I reside in Richmond, BC and own a convenience store in Burnaby, BC.
I've always had a passion for screenwriting with several completed first drafts.
