Patrick Burns

I’m a NYC-based freelance, multi-disciplinary entertainment professional delivering creative, vital and engaging content for theatre, print, music, and digital media.

I’ve performed off-Broadway, regionally and in national tours. My plays have been produced off-Broadway and regionally and my writing has been featured online in The Atlantic, The Chronicle for Social Change, and Stage Agent.

In 2016, I was awarded my second Syracuse Area Local Theatre Award as Music Director of the year for my work on musicals featuring casts made up of professionals, community members, at-risk youth and mentally challenged adults (Carousel and Dreamgirls).

My skills include: directing, playwriting, composition, orchestration, musical arrangement, music direction, public speaking, acting, singing, project management, social media management, Microsoft Office, Finale, Final Draft, WordPress, graphic design, Numbers, Pages and more.

I’m passionate about prison reform, diversity & representation, foster care and socially-conscious storytelling.
