About David
Starting out as an apprentice Pipefitter Welder in the UK in 1990, I realised I had a natural tendency for entertaining and storytelling. In 1997 my nature brought me to Australia as a backpacker where I had the urge to write down the experiences of other travelers. These hilarious tales of high jinks I jotted on beer coasters and napkins, whatever I could find. From there a passion for screenwriting and directing took hold.
After studying at the New York Film Academy in 2007 I settled back in Adelaide, Australia to start a production company focused on storytelling for business. It was a means to an end as I sought to learn the craft of creating original and entertaining screenplays.
To date I have written four screenplays whilst helping business owners communicate their value through an emotional connection to their target audience.
Now in 2022 I'm throwing my hat into the ring to be a full time screenwriter to create earthy and entertaining movies and TV for broad commercial audiences.
I love this journey I am on and I'm truly grateful for how following a passion is developing a self actualisation.
