Ameera Nasser

Ameera is a first generation Arab-American comic.   LA based and  currently residing in the Bay Area, Ameera’s different and original style of comedy and unique perspective, is second to none. She’s known for bringing out big crowds with her shocking, raw, and real story telling.  She’ll keep you on your toes begging for more. Her material draws from her culture, growing up, dating, life experiences and spot on impersonations of her lovely mother, and others.

She brings a different style to the stage with her strong improv skills, amazing crowd work, quick wittedness, delivered in an “in your face” blend of both her dry and  animated styles

Ameera is much more than just a comedic act. She is also a classically trained  1st soprano singer.  She’s been known to break out into a full on Hallelujah chorus or a sudden modern pop standard in the course of a performance…and it will bring the house down!
 
She’s done shows all over the Bay Area including prestigious venues such as Tommy T’s, Rooster T Feathers, and Punchline as well as breweries, private events, and bar shows. She recently opened for Kabir Singh , one of the  top 3 headliners in  California. Additionally, she has performed in LA venues such as The Comedy Store, Flappers, Ice House, and many more. 2019 Has seen her expand into hosting her own series of Showcases in the Bay area, and tour appearances across the Southwest.  Don’t miss a chance to see the ferocious new talent!
