Seth Christian

After earning his BA in 2006, majoring in digital animation and photography, Seth was quickly affirmed in his visionary and leadership skills for video and film after making various music videos, commercials, corporate promos, voice-over work and more. Immediately turning to cinematography, his first short film was shot on 8mm, then 16mm, now exclusively using digital Arri and Red cameras due to the freedom of the tools and the money saved in the production process.

While being honored with over a dozen wins and more than 50 nominations from film festivals worldwide, Seth Christian has been recognized as an emerging writer and director, garnering awards such as: Best Director, Best Drama, Best Short, Director’s Choice Awards, Best Thriller and Emerging Artist Award. His films have been typically dark in nature with well crafted characters, and utilizing psychological and sociological elements to drive a story in both relevance and mystery.

“I think many assume that you either are making a shallow, yet sellable box-office film, or, an Oscar-worthy story with depth and brains. On the contrary, I believe you can have both in a film, you just have to work harder.”

Currently, along with producers from Vow Flicks and Garth Manor Cinema, Ämizod Pictures have four features and two TV miniseries in development.
