Myles Candace Williams

For 4 years, I developed skills in general improvisation, explored the world of clowning, and developed the ability to harness my imaginative energy through the Michael Chekhov method. I've had a very active imagination since I was a kid. So much so that I invested the majority of my emotional energy to creating narratives and characters for hours on end. VO and on-screen acting both challenge and encourage me to bring my emotions, and character types to the surface. And, to take in the physical world around me. I was trained by Carroll Kimble (Carroll Casting), Melique Berger (Float Studios), Alyson Croft (Actors Cartel), David Bridel (Live Arts LA), and Hugh O'Gorman (Praxis Acting Studio).

When writing stories, I'm always looking to express my perspective of the world in very original ways. I believe that the mainstream film and TV industry should be doing more of that. There are issues (know and hardly known) that the general public should be exposed to. People need to experience being introduced to a different understanding of the world and society. Also, people need to witness that their current understandings are being organically acknowledged. The genres that help me translate my ideas effectively are thriller, sci-fi, adventure, and drama.
