Frank M Victoria

I was born and raised on Chicago’s Chicago south side and now live with my wife ,Gloria, in Oak Lawn, a suburb of that city. I served in the Marine Corps and graduated from Northern Illinois University with a BA in journalism.

I worked as a professional writer and editor for a variety of trade magazines, my last position being Editorial Director of three magazines covering the oil marketing industry and won seven local and national awards for my writing and magazine design. After more than twenty years I made a career change into education and spent sixteen years teaching mainly American history and government in the Chicago Public schools. I retired in 2007.

My novel, The Founders’ Plot, was my first, and took more than four years to write. It won First Place in the Beverly Hills Book Awards and was a finalist in the Indie Excellence Book Awards. I also have two e-books. I’m currently working on a spy novel and three screenplays, including a film adaptation of my novel.
