In the year 2106, when the line between humans and Cybers has become blurred, a crippled war veteran may become the only savior of the human race.

SYNOPSIS:

Tyler Ash is a war veteran, who gave his arm in the service of his country. He suffers from nightmares and depression. His only activities are going to the VA for Psych evals and repair to his outdated prosthetic, keeping up his self-defense skills with his sparring Cyber Charlie, and drinking until he passes out, but that is about to change.

HCraft Industries, a Cyber manufacturer, has a new line of synthetic humans, the TRC One. The latest in AI technology, they are able to learn through fully developed senses, and feel emotion, even love. Intrigued, Tyler buys an TRC One, with the idea of making her his wife. Tyler goes to HCraft Industries and meets Jen, who helps him with the finishing touches. When he meets Anna, it’s love at first sight.

But HCraft Industries has its share of secrets. Four Cybers; Zip, Kellen, Gorgo and Idol steal the prototype of the TRC Two, an advanced Cyber with unusual abilities. Tyler and Mark investigate the crime, but soon the trail goes cold.

Six months go by and Tyler and Anna are happy, but it doesn’t last. A neighbor drugs Anna and has sex with her. Tyler comes home and finds them together. Angry, he accidently kills Anna when his robotic arm malfunctions. He’s arrested, but charges are dismissed because Anna wasn’t human, angering many people. Rioting breaks out and Tyler goes into hiding. Kellen sees Tyler’s face on a vid screen, recognizes his old owner and wants revenge. The TRC Two, named Lilith, escapes her captivity and with her ability to shape-shift, her kidnappers can’t find her. Kellen does find Tyler and tries to kill him, but Tyler escapes with Mark’s help. They go to HCraft industries to interview Teresa.

While there, all four Cybers attack. Jen helps them escape in a jet, taking them to a secluded area where they meet Dr. Dennison, one of Robert’s old professors. He tells them that Teresa has been working with The Business Consortium on a plan to make its members immortal by putting their minds into Cyber bodies. Dennison gives them two laser guns to protect themselves, and this is put to the test when the four cybers discover them. Mark and Tyler kill three, but Kellen escapes. Going back to the city, they are ambushed by Kellen, who kills Mark. The fight between Kellen and Tyler ends when Jen uses the laser to immobilize Kellen. Lilith confronts Teresa, kills her and takes her place, and lets Tyler know that she will be hunting for him, and that he can’t hide from her. Tyler and Jen flee for safety after destroying Kellen.

But Teresa has one more ace to play.
