About Robert

I have written in various genres since my teen age years, notably scientific journals and business publications, as well as plays, opera librettos, song lyrics and short stories. In the past, I have sent ideas to various television shows in the form of synopses, treatments, and scripts, and had several considered.

I have completed over 25 scripts. 18 are full length, 2 are TV pilots and the rest are shorts of various genres. I am not tied down to any one specific genre, but embrace and am comfortable a wide variety.

I have received over 120 first place awards at various film festivals/screenwriting competitions, both in the US and various other countries, with over 300 placements, such as finalist, semi-finalist, Official selection etc, including wins at the Christian Film Festival, Big Apple Film Festival, Las Vegas Screenplay Contest and 3 wins at the Cannes Screenplay Contest.

Along with writing screenplays, I have also mentored writers, edited scripts and other forms of written communication, such as short stories, poetry, and even Blog Posts. I have also been called upon to judge film and screenplay submissions for Film Festivals, spoken at various Festivals, and taught sessions on screenwriting at various workshops.

I hold a BA in English, a BA in music and a Masters in Botany.
