Jeffrey W. Pike is a Canadian filmmaker originally from Brampton, Ontario.
At the age of 10, he began directing short films with his dads VHS camera in and around his home casting his younger brother and friends as actors. He never had the urge to be in front of the camera, but loved to tell a story from behind the lens.
After high school, Jeff went to film school where he learned the technical and business side of film production and experimented with shooting on various formats including 16mm film stock. He also volunteered on production sets in Toronto and Hollywood where he gained valuable on set experience.
After spending some time as a production manager on local independent film productions in the Toronto area, Jeff went on to produce and direct the short film, Love and Defiance starring up and coming Toronto-based actors Jailar Tabugay, Bobbi Jaye and Jorge Berrio. Love and Defiance has earned awards both in Canada and Internationally.
Today, he is developing feature length projects and looking to expand his network of professional filmmakers.
