Leon J Brumby's interest in the Performing Arts started as he grew up in Australia from the young age of five. Gifted with a natural talent for singing and an early interest in music, his growing talent quickly drew attention and the eventual progression leading onto legitimate theatre and on-stage performances as actor and director and eventually artistic director, an eventual outcome of 21 years of training culminating in his specialist degree at University. Relocated in the USA and working within the Hollywood and Independent Film Industries has meant switching his focus from performance as he gains attention writing for the screen. Experienced Screenwriter with a demonstrated history of working in the entertainment industry. Skilled in Improvisation, Film, Theatre, Screenplays, and Creative Writing. Strong operations professional with a BPA (Theatre) focused in Visual and Performing Arts from Queensland University of Technology. Owner and Producer for Arizona based film company QuickSilver Productions. Goal is to continue working within USA and Australia, whenever possible encouraging new talent, providing new opportunities and paying forward. To this end the current movie production, a Comedy Western titled Of Myth & Legend is set for photo shoot in Oklahoma in partnership with Capitol H Studio. This production will help boost local creative talent for the Oklahoma Film industry. Quicksilver Productions LLC - a new production company based out of Tucson, Arizona - will continue its mission to provide quality entertainment. Of Myth & Legend is a great start.
