About Richard

I have been doing Singing Telegrams since 1982 with Eastern Onion Entertainment. I started out doing Singing Telegrams as a way to pay for school at the Columbia School of Broadcasting for Radio & TV. After graduation, I worked as a radio DJ and TV host, but continued to do Singing Telegrams part time. Years later, I decided to follow my passion and now pursue singing telegrams as a full time career with my company Southern Stars Singing Telegrams. I have been an award winning karaoke performer since 2000 for my comedy & Elvis karaoke routines. Recently, I began to pursue a career as a actor & was cast in a improv skit comedy group called “Saturday Nites Alive In Atlanta”. Where I portrayed several characters, most notably was my creation of "Flabio", & became the lead comedy script writer for the group. I was cast as the mob boss "Fat Louie Palermo" in the "Dinner With The Mob" dinner theater, was cast as a Las Vegas hotel owner named "Harold Weiss" in a musical called "Illusions", was cast as the mob boss "Frankie Rossi" in the comedy stage play "Root Of All Evil" & was cast as a “Chris Christie Stripper” for the late night talk show “Conan” on TBS.

Unique traits: Elvis sideburns (uh huh huh...Thank you...thank you very much)
