After spending many years acting and performing in the New York City comedy scene, Kai has turned focus to screenwriting, where he has spent the last several years studying at the Jacob Krueger Studio under Jacob Krueger and Keatyn Lee. Originally from the Chicago area, Kai writes character-based comedies, and he recently finished his fourth feature script "Sinistaar!", a raucous and ridiculous horror comedy that is a love letter to heavy metal during the "Satanic Panic" of the 1980's.
Kai is also a graduate of the William Esper Actor Training Program, and studied and performed improv and sketch comedy for many years at the Magnet Theater and People's Improv Theater.
