SYNOPSIS:

A weapon of mass destruction will be sold to the highest bidder in New York City, but Delta Force veteran turned CIA operative DANIEL STRONG won’t let that happen. A former special ops veteran and recovering heroin addict, Danny must woo the heart of KATELYN CARRIE, the brilliant chemist who created a chemical weapon, to unlock her tormented mind to get the deadly formula.

But the CIA isn’t the only one after her secret: SABIR, a terrorist hell-bent on destroying to the State of Israel has arrived in America, and will do whatever it takes to get it.

Kate’s mother, cosmetic industry queen VANESSA CARRIE, has arranged the auction to save her crumbling empire along with her fading reputation. To that end, she has enlisted the services of her corporate security chief, GUNTHER McGORE, a ruthless man with a shady past. When Kate realizes Vanessa had used her to kill an undercover agent with a deadly parting gift, she steals world supply of the toxin and conceals it.

Danny, with the aid of his fellow agents, manipulates Kate into falling for him. The memories of his late wife, who died as a result of a suspicious friendly fire attack in Afghanistan, reemerge. He comes to view this new relationship as an act of redemption and vows to help Kate overcome her demons.

Danny and JAVI MARQUEZ, a fellow agent and former special ops comrade, meet to discuss his true feelings for Kate. Javi, who fought alongside Danny’s late wife, shares his recollection of the events that led up to her death and offers to help him uncover the truth about what caused it.

After two undercover agents invite Danny and Kate to dinner as planned, Sabir and his men abduct Kate and gun down Danny and the others before her eyes.

Having come to the conclusion that he is no longer needed, Danny comes upon one of Gunther’s men in his apartment and overpowers him. Having commandeered the man’s phone, he Danny finds himself speaking to Gunther, who worked together on a surveillance project in Geneva years earlier., Danny meets up with Javi discuss the redacted Fratricide Report that Javi uncovered, then Javi recounts all of the events leading up to Danny’s wife’s death. They both realize that Gunther was responsible, and formulate a plan to expose him with the help of a former burned out computer whiz whose career was destroyed as a result of the tragic Geneva operation.

After Sabir compels Kate to reveal the sought after formula, operation leader JOANNE DAWSON stages a phony rescue. However, Joanne’s intention to kill her is derailed when Kate reveals that she gave Sabir a phony formula. Joanne abandons Kate, who convinces her drug dealer to help arrange a meeting with Vanessa to exchange the toxin for her freedom. The meeting never occurs as Gunther’s attempt to apprehend Kate, fails. However, one of Gunther’s men spots the CIA agents intercept Kate who render her unconscious and stuff her in a taxi, which he follows.

In the midst of a drug-induced fugue dream, Kate is made to believe that she is an NYC police detective assigned to interrogate a terrorist’s wife who has knowledge of a chemical weapon’s location. Danny, Joanne and Sabir are all role players in her ‘dream’ to help her ‘extract’ the formula from the woman. Danny confirms Gunther’s role in his wife’s death and Joanne’s knowledge of it.

Gunther and his men raids the secret facility just as Kate divulges her secret. Most of the agents escape but Gunther finds a note pad with the formula written on it. Joanne, who has photographed the formula with her cell phone during the raid, leads Kate into an alley and is about to shoot Kate, when Danny confronts her. She admits to her involvement in the cover up, telling him that the end justifies the means. Before Danny can pull the trigger, Sabir shoots Joanne and runs off with her cell phone, leaving behind a stunned Danny and Kate. When the other agents arrive at the scene, Danny asserts command of the operation.

The day of the auction, Danny and Kate plan another meeting with Vanessa to make a toxin-for-money exchange. Danny notices a specially-marked syringe and confronts Kate about it. She asks him not to flush it away like the other heroin syringes and that she must trust him.

With Gunther’s help, Vanessa poisons Kate during the exchange in the park. When Danny arrives, he finds the syringe and realizes that it could be an antidote so he injects her with it. However, Kate does not revive before Javi arrives and pulls Danny away from Kate’s corpse before anyone sees them.

Later that evening, Gunther also thwarts an attempt to trail Vanessa Brooke to the auction location, but Danny’s hunch that the auction may held at Vanessa’s summer home proves correct.

A shootout ensues at the home, but Vanessa escapes with her life. Danny and Gunther have it out in a fistfight to the death, where Danny finally gets vindication. Danny and Javi track down Vanessa, who is disgraced. Certain to be implicated in Joanne’s death as a rogue agent, Danny leaves the City for parts unknown.

In the final sequence, a badly burned Jen appears as she purchases a condo and when asked how business is going, she says, “it’s never been better”. Then she walks into a bar and sits down at a booth to face none other than Kate, who recites Jen’s signature line back to her, “You look like shit, as usual.”
