About Alan

Alan published his first novel, a gripping spy thriller, last year and has adapted it to a screenplay, which received the grand prize at the 2018 New York Screenplay Contest. He has also written a biopic drama about a Mark Rothko painting that surfaced in L.A. and the man who found it. He also is developing a madcap action comedy thriller about a global warming conspiracy, as well as a World War II memoir about his father's experiences escaping Nazi Germany and working for the O.S.S. as a U.S. Army interrogator during the Battle of the Bulge. He lives with his wife and four children in Washington, DC.
