An aggrieved chemist stricken with buyer’s remorse over a weapon of mass destruction she created is an unwilling pawn in a mind-bending manipulation run by a ruthless arms dealer who exploits her guilt and failing memory to steal the weapon’s deadly formula.

SYNOPSIS:

Regaining consciousness in a dank subterranean safe house, FBI Special Agent Katelyn Carey can’t remember who she is or why she’s there.

Her FBI bosses, Joanne and Gunther, inform her that the night before, Kate was part of a SWAT team that raided the hideout of the Aryan People’s Brigade, a domestic terrorist group. Eric -- Kate’s colleague, boyfriend and paid informant -- was killed during the operation. They need Kate’s impeccable interrogation skills to break two Brigade members who know the locations of nerve agent canisters set to go off in NYC.

When the first survivor poisons himself during his interrogation, his dying words begin to trigger Kate’s memories as to who she really is. Joanne urges Kate to interrogate the second suspect, a rogue government chemist who has sold her deadly secret to the terrorists as revenge for the government’s role in her husband’s death in Afghanistan.

But after Kate loses control of the interrogation, she is flooded with disturbing new memories of her relationship with Eric, the Brigade, and her late soldier husband, that lead her to believe that she may be the real chemist traitor.

Shocked to her core and trapped in the interrogation room across from an impostor, Kate tries to flip the script but finds herself on the deadly end of Gunther’s gun as the room around her collapses to reveal it was all a set-up. Eric, who had acted out the “role” of the first suspect in an elaborate disguise, is alive but now betrays Gunther out of his love and respect for Kate. A deadly showdown ensues as Kate tries to escape.

Unfortunately, as Kate exits the safe house, she discovers she’s been on an isolated oil rig ever since she regained consciousness. Gunther compels Kate at gunpoint to create a new supply of the nerve agent and Kate must decide whether to complete her mission or sacrifice herself in a final act of redemption.
