Mark Lesser

Mark Lesser is an artist and screenwriter living in D.C. and Colorado. In October 2019, Mark’s comedic short, “A Bathroom on Drake”, was shot in Brooklyn, NY.

Set in 1968, "A Bathroom on Drake" is about an eight-year-old who accidentally locks himself in his grandparents bathroom. It takes his family and the Chicago Police and Fire department to get him out.

A Bathroom on Drake premieres Feb 10th at the Big Apple Film Festival. Directed by Adam Sorota, Starring Jerry Springer.
Mark’s feature, “Mumby Peg”, is being developed as a follow-up to this short film. Mark has won several awards for this and other feature screenplays, including “John Leggo”.

Mark holds a doctorate in clinical psychology, is married with an adult daughter, and has a dachshund named Pablo, who was not available for comment.
