Claire Wasmund

I’m an award-winning screenwriter and filmmaker. Born in Ohio, I made my way through several states in the Midwest before finding my home in Los Angeles.
My screenplays, short films, web series, and features have been official selections of 50 film festivals, earning me awards like “Best Screenplay”, “Emerging Filmmaker to Watch”, and “Best of Festival”, but my proudest moment came recently when I directed my first feature film two weeks after major surgery. I get things done, no matter the obstacle.
The first feature film I produced, “The Grover Complex”, received distribution through iTunes and Verizon Fios. The film features Matt Moy from “2 Broke Girls”, and was written and stars my partner Fernando Noor.
My second feature film "At the End of the Tunnel" is available on over ten streaming platforms and has received attention for its production design, directing, and acting.
In addition to film, I work as a supervising story producer for reality television. I’ve been on some of your favorites like "24 Hours to Hell and Back", Hell’s Kitchen (seasons 12, 14, 17, and 20) and Masterchef: Season 11. I understand network demands, deadlines, and the difficulties and benefits of working with large crews.
