About Nino
Born in Georgia and studied Philology at Tbilisi Pedagogical Institute. She published several novels, while simultaneously writing scripts for films and TV series. Few years she was editor in chief of Georgian Magazine “Images”. When she decided to become a film director, she graduated from the High School of scriptwriters and filmmakers. After finishing he studies, made several performances on stage, documentary films.
Her first feature film “Anna’s Life” (2016) was in main competition at more than 30 international world film festivals. Won film festival awards as:
Best film – Valencia film fest (Spain), Palma de Mallorca film fest, Bulgaria film fest. Best director – Arras film fest (France), Sakhalin film fest (Russia), Fipresci – Cairo film fest, Buenos Aires film fest– Merit award, Istanbul film fest – Jury’s special prize.. etc...
At this time - work in progress: 4 new films for development. Looking for co-producers in abroad.
