I am a screenwriter for film and completed my first feature screenplay, 'Behind The Barber Shops Mirror' in 2017. It is a British small-time gangster tale with a messy love tangle! I networked this for 2 years and received good responses, including that of David Keating (Wake Wood fame). I plan to revisit this screenplay in 2020 following advice and suggestions from various lovely people and companies to make improvements. I am currently working on the 2nd draft of my second screenplay, 'The Man In The Bumblebee Shirt' which is set in Manchester in the 1970s centred around an ex-cop who let slip of a child seriel killer. This may actually be a BBC TV gritty drama as I plan to shorten its feature time. I have also begun scribbling notes for my 3rd screenplay which will be a revenge feature film with a twist of horror in the form of a doppelganger. I am also drafting ideas for a further short feature, again British drama based on hard times and poverty. I have been featured in various music and fashion books over the years. I also write reviews for new bands and their albums (mod, garage, psych) which is when you will know me as Wischietta D'eath...
Unique traits: I love dialogue and visuals - the grittier the language the better and the hippest moves, style and angles - oh yeh! I only write and set the scene with the correct music: my driving force. My brain is generally engulfed in crime, gangsters, revenge and shadows of horror appear occasionally. I am obsessed with Kitchen Sink Realism Films of the late 50s/early 60s. I am a Martial artist in Tai Chi Chuan, including weapons and have a keen eye for action and fight scenes. I am also a Yoga teacher and drink gallons of tea. If Raimi and Tarantino worked with Meadows and McGovern, the result would be my film!
