About Abraham
I am a professional screenwriter and editor with over four years practical experience working on and off movie sets. I have written for both individual and corporate Production Houses.
Owing to my robust contribution to developing content ranging from plays to movies for the department, I was awarded the Best Script Writer of the Department of Theatre Arts in my final year at the University. I successfully completed a screenplay which was subsequently produced before passing out.
I have written over twenty professional screenplays and a few stage plays. I have also worked as a Documentary Script Writer and Editor at a media establishment in Ibadan, Nigeria. While there I introduced a new system for formatting documentary scripts and making video attachments easier to locate by the video editor. The documentary was written to perfection such that when I watched it I couldn't help but feel proud of myself.
My experience has built in me much needed skills for expert storytelling on and off the screen.
Owing to the poor treatment of writers in the Nollywood Industry, I was moved to start Echo Scripts Consultancy, a screenwriting and general content writing company targeted at providing quality content for TV, Movies, Documentary, Stage productions, and websites while protecting the interests of the writers and ensuring mutuality in the business relationships. We aim to give writers recognition as well as the appropriate pay for their invaluable contributions to the growth of the industry.
