Keishon Patrick

Hello my name is Keishon Patrick and I'm a photographer in Maryland, and photography and film has been a passion of mine since I was 12, I'm 21 now and I dove into my craft right after high school, its a gamble not going the college rout but I figured I give this dream of mine 100% or nothing at all, I watch all the other people one TV and on magazine and say "that could be me today, we're no different, we both have a dream and just stuck with it at the end of everyday." I'm not doing this for money only because if I wanted fast money I would've sold my gear and call it a day, I love this culture so much, I really just want to add to it by the time I decide to walk away from it all. I really love the art of it all, and like I said above I just want to add to the culture of photography, my style of photography, I like to call it beauty in the rough, I go to "ugly" places and take a beautiful shot. This is all I really do, I started with the nature shots, but it wasn't fulfilling to me honestly, I rather take pictures of people, it's easy to tell a full story (beginning, middle, and end) in one shot, and that's a big part of my style, I want to tell the story of my subject but their stories also factors in to a much larger story that I'm trying to telling, it's not in any traditional order just kind of making it.
