Three LA producers embark on a film shoot in a Costa Rican vacation
town, but what they foresaw as a paid holiday turns into a deadly game of cat and
mouse when they find themselves going up against the most ruthless of all possible
adversaries – the investors.

SYNOPSIS:

A quartet of producers, Fin, Sylvia, Tom, and DeShaaan (one so clueless he gets all the details wrong and makes up the rest) plan a film in Costa Rica to wrangle a paid "vacation". They acquire funding from a generous group of Eastern-European investors from Slomania.

Almost immediately, trouble befalls the production, as the clueless producers, DeShaaan, dies.

The movie they're filming, "Brainforest" is about a sexy biracial lesbian cult leader who leads couples on spiritual journeys into the rainforest, then convinces the wife to kill the husband. After killing him, the wife learns the cult leader plans to blackmail her into a never-ending master/servant relationship and one more murder seems her only way out. However, even that's not enough, as, when fleeing her second murder, she's captured by a cannibalistic tribe, setting up...a sequel. Hence the name Brainforest.

Halfway through filming Brainforest, the producers discover that the movie is being used as a front to launder money from a Slomanian-run international sex-slave ring. They refuse to be a party to such immorality, and the feminist female producer, Sylvia, decides she rather dip into her deep trust fund to fund the rest.

However, the Slomanians do all they can to sabotage the production, killing off members of the crew, and thus terrorize the producers to return to the status quo.

In the end, two of the three remaining producers are marched on a Bataan-ian death march by Slomanian henchmen one and two, but they prove so lazy that they (somehow need to be catered to, at which point the henchmen die). The Slomanian leader, Ivan, intent on murdering the final producer, finds him about to hang himself...until he realizes the man is just gearing up for some autoerotic asphyxiation. By that point, however, it's too late - the Slomanian's been spotted, and then Fin lassos the Slomanian's neck, hanging him!

Finally, Fin, Sylvia, and Tom survive, wrap production, and escape back to the U.S. to find their clueless counterpart, DeShaaan, alive and well! This discovery is met with annoyance that turns to elation when they find out he's already sold their project...and then rage when they realize what he sold was nothing like what they were filming. Causing them to contractually return to production to remake it as a sci-fi faith based historical fiction bio-pic.

BRAINFOREST
