SYNOPSIS:
It’s New Year’s Eve, and Hannah Li’s resolution weighs heavy on her mind – to find happiness, or die trying. She’s a Chinese-American dentist who’s sick of her job, losing her best friend, dumped by her soul mate, outshone by her sister, and harassed by her mother, she plans a self-indulgent day, ending with a swan dive off the Golden Gate Bridge. But her plans are thwarted by her job, her friends, her family, and her ex. Still, she manages to make it to the bridge, only to be derailed by a scared would-be jumper who beat her to the punch…whom she talks off the ledge and accompanies to counseling, only to accidentally discover she herself has a knack for connecting with people in distress. She may have found herself a new vocation. Or, at least, a reason to live another day.
