Bruce Lankford

My day job has been in the realm of live events, whether in corporate or entertainment for two decades. (I'm not old, I just started young!) My passion and my purpose rest in screenwriting and directing. I have produced some small projects in the past, but I have only just recently been gifted the opportunity to realize my truly realize my potential.

I am looking to connect with other peers who love this industry of art and storytelling, where we can both grow towards our desired dreams together. I want to share some of my writing and I want you to share yours, and perhaps we can make each other better. I am a Georgia peach, but only recently moved back the ATL. Favorite films of mine span from Star Wars to Bottle Rocket, from Lord of the Rings to Boyz in the Hood, from Lawrence of Arabia to SpiderMan Into the SpiderVerse. I am the kind of guy that listens to Walt Disney World Park Music for inspiration in one moment and Tupac the next. I have recently enjoyed this "Golden Age of TV' as it has allowed for shows like Atlanta, Handmaids Tale, The Marvelous Ms. Maisel and countless others to be produced.

I am currently working on a urban comedy web series that I was asked to write and direct, a one hour drama series set in the south with familiar characters but a different spin, and a feature length biblical fantasy, which is just fun!

I believe that if any of us truly want to make it in this industry we have to be willing to put in the work, listen, collaborate, learn, grow and keep smiling no matter what!
