With over 30 years in the art business, Steve Anderson has been an official Star Wars artist for Lucasfilm Licensing and their licensees since 1993. He was an artist for Hallmark Cards for eleven years where he created Hallmark’s first Star Wars calendars, puzzles, gift wrap and handle bags. In 1997, he left to start his own freelance business. Since then, he’s created official licensed artwork for all nine Star Wars movies, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Disney's Star Wars: Rebels, the Indiana Jones movies well as the Disney movie Frozen. His work for the Lucasfilm/Disney styleguide goes to licensees for use on all kinds of merchandise sold in over 100 countries. From Limited Edition posters, litho prints, magazine covers, comic book covers, novel covers, pin ball machines, calendars, game box tops, game boards, Campbell soup cans, table lamps, trains, plates, etc.

The cover artist on numerous New York Times best-selling Star Wars books for Random House including the movie novelizations for Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith. Others include Labyrinth of Evil, Shatterpoint, The Cestus Deception, Cloak of Deception, Jedi Trial, Yoda: Dark Rendezvous, Survivor's Quest, The Approaching Storm, Tatooinie Ghost, Traitor, Dark Journey, The New Essential Guide to Alien Species, Characters, Droids, Weapons and Technology, Vehicles and Vessels and the movie novelization G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.

His artwork has also graced a lot of items for Hasbro Games on puzzles, game box tops, game boards, action figure packaging related to licensed properties such as G.I. Joe, Indiana Jones, Pokemon, Lord of the Rings, Narnia, Spider-Man, Star Wars, Clone Wars, Transformers, Jurassic Park, X-Men, Disney-Pixar, Marvel, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, Warner Brothers and Universal Studios.

Steve also does extra and stand-in work on tv and movies. He was the stand-in for Harrison Ford on the feature film Extraordinary Measures.
